I started playing golf 15 years ago and quickly developed a deep passion for the game. In 2019, I joined the ladies’ committee at Paarl Golf Club and volunteered to serve on the Boland Ladies Golf executive. In 2020, I was elected Vice President, and in 2022, I had the honour of becoming President and served on the WGSA Executive committee. By then, discussions to unify the Boland Golf Union and Boland Ladies Golf were well underway, and the successful amalgamation was finalised in October 2022.
Following this milestone, I had the privilege of becoming the first female President of a unified golfing union in South Africa, and the first woman to serve on the National Executive Committee of the South African Golf Association.
In 2024, after a year in the role, I was officially appointed Director of Golf at Boland Golf Union. As a Level 3 Rules official, I’ve worked with GolfRSA, the Sunshine Tour, and the R&A, and in 2025, I became the first South African woman to officiate at the SA Investec Open.
I’m passionate about the growth of our game and deeply committed to the clubs, players, and communities we serve. I believe in building strong relationships, open communication, and working together to create a more inclusive, sustainable future for golf in our region.
